The new site which we’ve built and developed has now launched for Coventry Business Improvement District (BID)

The fully responsive website designed to promote the ever developing City Centre of Coventry. With the continuous help and work done by Coventry Business Improvement District.

This includes all the Cities latest news, events and information. Plus a directory of all the businesses within the city centres ring road.

One main concepts for the website is to be the top directory for visitors and businesses alike coming to Coventry. As a result we’ve created an in depth dynamic search functionality. Featuring all the information you will ever require for any visit into the City Centre.

The search features includes all information for the following;

This site was designed by Jade Studio, with the website developed and build by Oxygen Graphics. All business information was kindly provided by East Village PR. Our businesses came together to create this perfect user friendly concept.

Good things happen when people get together! – Event the right way!

Most of us sell to other people. More than ever, we have to create experiences for our customers. To give them what they can’t get online.

Exhibitions are great for finding new customers and expo season starts in September. But why wait ‘til then?

The comfort zone, It’s a beautiful place. But nothing grows there.

If you want to get extraordinary results, you’ve got to do things out of the ordinary. Get out. Meet people!

The exhibition season is upon us. This is how to maximise your results from any exhibit you hold!

Make them come!

First things first. The invites. For an intimate event, mail something fancy. For a VIP look, your invites should match the experience. Opt for Opuleaf gold or silver foil or StarMarque spot gloss highlights to impress. For a larger event, leaflets inserted into the local paper or pushed through letterboxes will be appropriate.

Be a social butterfly. Multiply your message by posting the event on social media. Get people interested and build the buzz.

Create a bit of a spectacle!

We’re all a bit nosey. Make guests feel privileged to be invited and make passersby wonder what they’re missing out on.

Block out your windows with fabric and “closed for VIP event” posters. Stick a pair of flags either side of your door. Put some dramatic lighting outside. Turn up the tunes. Get them excited upon arrival.

Create a unique environment!

Standing out in a crowded market place – Zoom Recruitment

Zoom Recruitment is a recruitment agency based in Kent who had approached the team at Oxygen to help them develop a way to stand out from the crowd within the recruitment industry.

We helped zoom by rebranding their current logo and creating a new website for them with added functionality.

www.Zoomrecruitment.co.uk

The team at Oxygen helped develop and design a new mobile responsive website for Zoom with some unique features that give them a competitive edge in a crowded marketplace. Zoom needed something that would communicate and integrate with their existing systems and therefore communication was key to this process.

Zoom’s old site was unfortunately subject to a malicious hacking. As standard with the development of their new site, we provided them with additional security to ensure this doesn’t happen again. By installing software to run alongside the new site it added another level of security that helped to make the team at Zoom feel more protected against this level of exploitation in the future.

Job Boards:

The larger recruitment sites such as Reed and Monster are cluttered with recruitment agencies and employees pitching jobs to prospects.  This makes it difficult to stand out from the crowd as a recruitment agency due to the sheer amount of jobs being posted. Oxygen helped develop a job board that is personal to the jobs that zoom upload and provided this on their website.

The integrated job board means that clients trying to find a job using the Zoom Recruitment website will only be able to see the jobs that

Be A Big Fat Brand Strawberry – Get Picked!

It’s June 2017 (Already) and that means another new and exciting offer of the month! This month we are focusing on all things branding and helping you to develop as companies. It’s all about making the right first impressions and that’s where we come in!

Be a great big brand strawberry!

Why are strawberries red? And what the pip has that got to do with marketing? Bear with me on this!

Birds know that red berries are the ripest and tastiest. Strawberries have evolved to advertise their tastiness by changing colour to an intense red. What’s in it for them? Birds eat the fruit, can’t digest the seeds and scatter them around the area.

This made us think. We’re all in business to attract attention and get picked. Right? The trick is making sure it’s YOU that customers want to pick.

This is not the time to be shy!

Your logo is a visual shortcut which reminds people who you are!

We design corporate identities for businesses just like yours every day! Let’s think how many times your logo will be seen? Are you proud of it?

You should be proud of your logo. Liberally plaster it everywhere! You’ll definitely use it on your website, Business cards, Business stationary! What about your brochures, folders and price lists?

It may even be on your vehicles or your clothing and don’t forget your signage!

Just how many times will this logo be seen? How many people drive past your premises each hour? What hits are you getting on your site? Your logo could be

Rugby Fireworks

It’s that time of year to wrap up warm and watch another terrific firework event! Oxygen Graphics is working closely with Rugby Round Table, the organisers of the biggest and best Firework event in the area, to increase awareness of the event and sell tickets. The design team created the artwork based on a “Tiki” theme for this event which is used on various marketing collateral including posters, leaflets and external banners. Oxygen also designed and developed the website for Rugby Fireworks where a video from last year’s event is displayed. The importance of marketing events is to choose the right applications and channels to make sure the marketing message is constant.

Oxygen Graphics designed and created this poster along with other marketing collateral to advertise the event.

Rugby Fireworks has been held every year on the Saturday closest to Guy Fawkes’ Night since it was established by Rugby Round Table in 1956. This year, the gates open at 4pm on Saturday 7th November at the Whinfield Rec on Clifton Road.

All the profits from ticket sales will go towards good causes and local charities. So why not treat yourself to a fantastic night full of entertainment and support the charity event? Tickets cost £5 in advance, £7 on the gate and children under 3 are free!

This epic night will include performances by: Area 51 fire performers, White Men Can’t Funk, Speak Brother and Silver Side.

Watch the video below to get a real feel of how great the event was last year!

How to attract new customers

An exhibition stand is a great way to promote your company. But the first step is to choose the exhibition that is right for you. You have to go in to the exhibition with objectives you want to fulfil. Whether you are launching a new product or you want to interact with new customers, you need to decipher what you want the outcome of the exhibition to be. Generally, customers don’t have much time so the the longer you keep them at your stand, the more likely you are to grab their interest in your services and get a lead.

At events, such as trade fairs, it is important that you market your brand clearly in order to get across what it is you specialise in. Do not be fazed if there are several companies offering the same services as you, at the same event, it means the right customers will attend. Of course, if your competitors are at the same exhibition, you have to adapt your marketing technique.

Do not be afraid about being different to attract attention to your business. One way to do this is to offer promotional products such as bags, pens, mugs – practical things your customer will use everyday so they will be reminded of your company.

Here is a stand we created for British Photovoltaic Association (BPVA) at Solar Energy UK 2015.

If you need help designing or printing your stand panels, look no further! Here at Oxygen Graphics, we will help make your marketing message clear and

Rock Solid History

RPC-3D-Book---Header-Image

Rugby – the town, mind you, not the sport – has been enjoying its moment in the spotlight thanks to the Rugby World Cup. While we’re proud of all the coverage, it’s also a great time to point out that our town history involves a lot more than the creation of throwing a ball backwards.

Cue the Rugby Portland Cement Transport. Granted (pun intended), while some might not think that our rock history is as exciting as an international sporting event, the niche group of Rugby business and transportation history enthusiasts would disagree with you.

Oxygen was happy to collaborate on book design and layout with author Glen McBirnie on his recent and impressive book, Rugby Portland Cement Transport: a story of vehicles and their drivers. The 296-page book boasts photos from a private collection of more than 40 photo albums covering a variety of subjects on the British road transport scene from post-war years up to the 1980s.

McBirinie’s first book on RPC Transport “A Story of Vehicles and their Drivers” has sold over 1,400 copies since its release in 2002, both here in the United Kingdom and overseas.

Rugby Portland Cement Transport is available for purchase at WH Smith and Hunts Bookshop. Additional copies can be ordered through Amazon or Crown House or borrowed from the Rugby Library.

Do you have a book project coming up or a complicated design concept you’re mulling over? Give us a call – we’re happy to show you our work, our customer reviews and discuss how we can help bring your project to life.
