Review of 2018 – it’s been a fabulous year!
As we approach the end of 2018, we wanted to take the time to look back at our achievements and of course thank our wonderful clients and business partnerships for their ongoing help and support.
When you run a busy town centre marketing agency, we enjoy meeting lots of people – new or existing clients. Some drop in for a coffee and a chat on their way past, others respond to our online or offline marketing communications and messages, we meet people at events including our regular networking activities, whilst others are recommended or referred to us.
But whilst these methods have proved very successful over the years, in 2018 we wanted to try something new. So for the first time we tendered for some larger contracts, including NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Trust, and we were delighted when we were notified that we were to become one of their preferred suppliers.
However our clients come to us, we remain grateful for their trust and loyalty. We cannot do what we do without them; neither can we deliver a first class service without the hard work, enthusiasm and cooperation of our dedicated staff. This year we have restructured our staff and clearly defined their roles, as well as involving them in relevant business growth activities. This has led to an increase in productivity of 20%.
Outside help and support
Also enabling us to think big has been the support from our business partners. We would like to single out Matt Ewer from ActionCOACH. Natalie has attended his Action Club twice a month, as well as their highly instructive Business Excellence Forum and the knock on benefits to the business have been incredible. Not only have we generated unique ideas for projects and campaigns, but we have also implemented some great initiatives which we have rolled out across the business and are already yielding great results.
And it’s not just about our clients and partners, we are also actively involved in the local community and in particular supporting local charities. Whether it’s Rugby Round Table, sponsoring the Wigley Golf day or helping local events with free design and print services and/or volunteering, we like to do our bit.
2018 - meeting milestones
Finally, we recently celebrated our 9th year in business. This more than anything else highlights the fact that what we do is working and that if we continue to listen to our customer and business advisors, we will be able to continue to develop and grow the business to meet our ever increasing goals. Here’s to 2019 and the challenges it may bring, we are more than ready, so bring it on!
