It not only affects our business it will affect your business too! It’s not a Law that is just for those big corporations either we’re afraid.

We’ll try and do our best to make this clear to understand, it certainly gave us a sore head working it all out.

GDPR – Whats the Fuss All About?

If you use email marketing, send direct mail or make sales calls this will affect you! The law is changing what you can and can’t do.

This all comes into play 25th May 2018 General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

It may be easy to say “I’ll worry about it later”  The new GDPR law is a complex and extensive law. Here is some advice we’ve been able to put together that will help you comply with the new changes.

It’s easy to think you don’t collect data but if you’re using any tracking tools like Google Analytics on your website you are. This can include anything from individuals IP addresses or a simple contact form.

People have a right to know what personal information you’re storing about them and what data you might have.

The new site which we’ve built and developed has now launched for Coventry Business Improvement District (BID)

The fully responsive website designed to promote the ever developing City Centre of Coventry. With the continuous help and work done by Coventry Business Improvement District.

This includes all the Cities latest news, events and information. Plus a directory of all the businesses within the city centres ring road.

One main concepts for the website is to be the top directory for visitors and businesses alike coming to Coventry. As a result we’ve created an in depth dynamic search functionality. Featuring all the information you will ever require for any visit into the City Centre.

Our client The Wigley Group held its annual Open and Gala Dinner. The Wigley Group are experts in commercial property needs, risks and construction. Over the last few years they’ve managed to raise a staggering £63,000 for the charity. The charity supports The Parachute Regiment, welfare assistance to serving soldiers and their families. Also help raising money for the Wigley Support Fund, which launched this year. Helping retrain serving and injured soldiers.

This year’s Open and Gala was set to be another star-studded sporting event at Staverton Park De Vere. Which included the football legend Kevin Keegan and sports announcer John McDonald.

OXYGEN HELPS BREATHE LIFE INTO TOWN CENTRE

1st Thursdays inaugural event huge success.

Question: How many food trucks do you need to pull off an epic evening of late-night shopping around town?

Answer: TRICK QUESTION!

You can never have too many food trucks!

Granted, your stomach might disagree with you on that one, but we’re convinced the answer is, “the more, the merrier.”

The parade of food trucks was one of the goals at the inaugural Love Rugby Town’s 1st Thursday event on March 5. Food trucks spanning culinary options like waffles, toasties, nachos, wings and even vegan options were on hand to replenish the fuel reserves of the crowds taking advantage of the late-night shopping the Love Rugby Town committee worked so hard to make a reality.

Between 2,000 and 3,000 local residents shopped, dined and perused the town centre bringing in thousands of pounds of takings for the retailers in about 3 hours. Organisers deemed the inaugural event a huge success.

“We pulled it off, after months and months of planning and logistics,” said Malcolm Freeman, owner of Oxygen Graphics and 1st Thursdays committee member. “The event was great and we’re looking forward to several more successful 1st Thursdays, especially as the weather turns warmer.”

The event not only received the collective nod of approval from the community but also caught the eye of the House of Commons with a commendation from William Hague. The event also received accolades from Mark Pawsey, Member of Parliament for Rugby, who was on hand during the kick off event and called
